Spurs v Hull
It was a nil nil draw but Fran had her first taste of real premiership footy.
The Day started by uswaking up rather late, my dad has to leave quite early so we were pressed for time.
Downstairs a massive fry-up was cooking, hmmm eggs, bacon, sausage, toast etc etc an olympic size breakfast fit for a king (and queen) hehe
Not long to eat though, so we wolfed it down and get into the Cooper-S
Battling some minor traffic we eventually made it near the ground, parked up and took a chilly walk onto White Heart Lane.
With several hours to kill we took a strole up to the local Sainsburys, it wasn’t as far as the signs made out it was…
Fran was still thirsty so bought some drinks, hmm fanta on special offer, yes please.. Also we got a Lotto ticket.. was this to be the night we became millionaires?
Next stop, cash point… Needed to get the monies for the tickets whoop
Then it was off to the pub.. we went to Rudolphs right next door to the west stand entrance and it was quiet as we were quite early. I got a nice flat pint of Stella.. hmmm
Still no word from my mate about the damn tickets tho.. but finally a few beers and frolicking eachother on the bar stools he answerd his phone and met us in the pub.. “would you like a drink”? yeah man.. 15 mins later and 5 mins to kick off i finally get my beer lol
Now its the race round to the park lane end to get to the season ticket holder seats. But wait… we dont have the tickets yet :\
Waiting out side for matey boy, the kick off time drawing closer and closer but finally, I got my hands on two season ticket books we got through the turnstyles and made it to some empty seats just in time. Few mins later we actually moved into our real seats lol
The game was good, but no goals, the Hull keeper was very good and done his job well, atmosphere was ok but not the usual White Heart Lane experience, maybe if there was a goal or two it would of been better.
After the match we literally blagged it “back stage” into where the players come out, we saw a few famous faces and loads of ghey Hull people but it was cool to see some of these expensive players close up.
Few pics from the day:
