Well, the weekends task list had been mounting up all week, and it finally came to the weekend, we knew what we had to do and get sorted but as usual, come 11 am we were still in bed!

Frans yellow SEAT needed some tlc and we had to get her iPhone ringer switch fixed, so after we eventually dragged ourselves out of bed it was off to Brent X to the apple store.

Fran drove the Fez, i was too tired hehe and we managed to park ok despite the car wash people pointing at us and attempting to get the filthy car washed.

Onwards and up to the Apple store, it was PACKED, over to the genius bar and “do you have an appointment”? … erm nope. Ok so we couldn’t just turn up and sort this out so we booked an appointment to come back 2:30!

We made our way back home and wasted no time attempting to start the SEAT, jump leads out, fez bonnet up, car in middle of road, bingo sparks fly and the alarm starts to chirp, we have power!

TO pass the time i plugged in my phone and played starry eyed remix (See our music page) im sure this drained the battery more but we were havin fun in the sun, even a little butterfly joined us, he must of followed us from last week! lol

15 mins later and a few attempts to turn it over the engine finally starts! she lives!! the brakes were still seized up but a few laps round the block and it was sorted!

Next on the list was to clean the damn thing, but no time for that, our apple store appointment was due, Fran jumps in the drivers seat and takes her car for a blast up to brent X.

We make it there in one peice thank god lol and shoot up to the apple store, fran D shown on the plasma tv above the genius bar means its our turn! and thankfully when showing the apple dood, he notices the problem and the resolution is just to give her a brand spanking new iPhone but but but, the info wasn’t totally backed up, so we decided to leave the phone there and come back again on sunday, after the spa!

Hunger kicked in and we went to burger king again, hmmm i love it. But before that, we took a trip to boots…. anyway off we go again back to my house, and the next task was to make the car look a bit more presentable.

We took it to the kosovo style car wash, loads of acid was used to break up the dirt and the car was slowly getting hotter, nearly 120 degrees, we thought it would over heat but thankfully it surived its clean and came out the other end good as new!

it was yellow again! and looked fab.. i got jelous so i took the k1 for a wash also

I booked a hotel earlier in the week for us to stay in on sat night so the drive to Tunbridge wells wasn’t so long on sunday, and after packing all my bits together and saying our good byes we set off on our journey.

The sun was out and the shades were on, we cruised round the m25 for ages and finally came to the small villiage of tonbridge, looks quite nice, and satnav took us striaght to the hotel entrance but where to park? I called reception and the parking was round the back.

Parked up and went in to reception, nice little hotel, just wanted to get up there and chill, we were in room 5, over looking the main high street, the room was boiling hot so i was ordered to strip down, the bed was not too comfy but i was just so tired it didnt matter, i found some much needed spare pillows in the wardrobe and we put on the tv and chilllled.

Hunger was kicking in again, and rather than get my app out i stuck my head out the window and saw an Ask resteraunt… we are so going there tonight! Fran has a shower and looks pritty whilst im wathcing Britains Got Talent.. shh with that hairdryer ! lol

We took the 30 second walk over the road to the resteraunt and was seated right away… I ordered two fantas and Fran got a white wine spritzer. I didn’t complain, she was paying

Just like our 1st date, arms spread over the table, fingers locked together, as hungry as i was, i just didnt want to let go.

Fran had a started, hmm garlic bread i just had to pinch a slice.

My drinks were slowly running out so it was confiscated till my meal came. I had a nice prosciutto pizza and my princess has spaghetti carbonara!

It was lovely and i maneged to eat it all! But still room for desert, i got a hot fudge chocolate cake with choc ice creame! hmmmm !

A very nice meal and all paid for by my wonderful GF, thank u baby x

Back to the hotel now and its time to test how strong that desk really is Good night …

The day of our spa, and the 1st task was to see the outcome, but the stick was a minus rather than a plus, better safe than sorry, one day, one day

Anyway, we go down to checkout of the hotel and then round the back of the hotel to get into the car, sat nav ready and we are off.

Its only 15 mins away, clever wayne for going down night before!

We arrive on the road and go past the entrace, no where to park again so we have to find a multistorey car park and then walk down…

As we enter the spa and get to reception we are told to go change our shoes into flip flop, all good.

Next, we get a tour of the place, Gym, salt water pool, relaxation room, ahh it all looks great, cant wait to get into that poo.

Off to the chaning rooms we go and strip down, luckily we already had our swimming stuff on to save time

we had our moroccan mist treatment products ready and waiting for us in our locker, as well as a towl and robe.

We met back outside the changing rooms, dump our stuff on some sun loungers and walk round to the pool stairs, its cold but we both slowly get in and cuddle for warmth.

After some splashing about and attempted swimming we climbed into the jacuzzi and the bubbles surrounded us, it was luxury, the jucuzzi was infused with moor mud, it spelt a bit but im sure it was doing wonders for the skin.

The jucuzzi water was warm, and when we go out and into the salt water pool again it was absolutely freeezing! lol all good tho because our next stop was the steam room…

We sat on limestone seats and was surrounded by hot steam which filled the room, it was sooo niiice and it helped clear my airways.

It did get a bit hot in there, so what better solution is there other than go into a room twice the temp? lol we went into the sauna and got all sweaty untill we couldnt bare ant more and got into the pool!

A good few minutes of pool fun we got back out and chilled on the sun loungers, i read a magazine and fran dozed off for a while just listening to the nice relaxing music and water splashing. Earlier we looked into the relaxation room but it was too busy, but now was the time to go there and just chill together…

We went down into the relaxation room and it was a massive 20 ft bed with pilliows and blankets, we dived on and snuggled up in the corner it was soo nice and comfy, i grabbed an apple and a pear and in what was meant to be quiet room, began to munch loudly hehe.

After my nice fruit we spread out and ended up being so chilled, fell asleep in eachothers arms..ZZZzzzzzzzz…

It seemed like an eternity, we kept waking up and drifting off, just so nice to forget everything and fall asleep together.

Well as all our days start, it tends to be in bed, lol. I knew I heard the reminder on my phone go off at half 8, so on our day off was still up at stupid o’clock in the morning. ok so up for breakfast in bed, it was toast for me and the usual massive brekkie of toast cereal and whatever else Wayne had. Hmm 2 and a half hours later, we finally get up, apologies to Craig and Briony for any untoward noises they may have heard.
dressed and off we go, burnt oak here we come. Well my flip flops didn’t think so. The left one broke soon after we got about half way to the station, temporary fix and then it broke again. Hmmm this could be a really long day. Wait… Me and my ingenious ideas, wrap the bit around my toe, hmm lets hope it doesn’t cut off any blood circulation, I quite like my toe. Right continue trip to Burnt Oak, and my first ever top up of an oyster card. Thanks Craig. Through the barriers, and on to the train. Having already checked our route on yet another iPhone app, we sat playing some word game, I got all the long words, ‘coz I is clever I is’. ok we get to Leicester square and time for a change over to the picadilly line to South Kensington or ‘South Ken’ as Wayne and his invisible home boi’s like to call it. LMFAO.
Off the tube and I’m hoping my flip flops don’t come off and end up on the tracks, but Wayne is such a sweetie he’d jump on the tracks for me
up some stairs and following signs, cutting people up and we’re out into fresh air and looking at the beautiful Natural History Museum. Hmm bit confused, something about finding butterflies. Ooo look tickets, and hey presto it’s for the butterfly exhibit. Waiting in the queue, somehow on the subject of screaming kids, we pay for our tickets, Gift Aid donation, lest it’s not as expensive as London Zoo, what a rip off that was. Tickets, and passport, see pic and we’re on our way in. Deep breathe and in we go. My god it’s hot. Phew. but look at all the pretty flutterbies walking around and the butterflies are instantly attracted to Wayne (well who wouldn’t be). Walking around and stamping the passport, and Wayne being attacked by more butterflies we take loads of pics, more than I’ve ever taken me thinks. So fascinated by the butterflies, they’re so pretty. Walking outside to the little play area, we decide not to stop for too long and head back instead to the other bit of the exhibit. More butterflies… Really! Very pretty and we take some more pics and get more stamps for the passport. I don’t want to leave but Wayne is getting a bit hot, so outside to the giftshop. We walk up to the Natural History Museum, through the doors and nearly through and, ‘Miss can I check your hand bag please?’ Here we go, seriously do I look like I carry a knife around, or a gun! ridiculous, so on and up and to the Dinosaurs. Walking around all the ‘galleries’ we start to get a bit hungry, well Wayne and his fat belly do
How much for a slice of cake! £4! get out of it, bottle of coke it is then to keep us going just a little bit longer. Wayne likes the lion, he thinks it’s him. I like the Dolphins and the underwater bit
To the shiny bits! Mineral gallery, and wow it’s pretty, so many shiny colours and amazing crystals, and wow I love it. Wayne is quite bored though, shame. The Vault, ahhh. Hmm more shiny and expensive bits and the glow in the dark diamonds, No pics but it was B-E-A-Utiful.
Last thing before we go for some food, Something beginning with ‘S’. And it’s a massive tree! hey I’ve seen this, It’s a giant redwood from the California coast! These trees are massive, the largest trees on earth, such amazing organisms.
Ok out the doors and into the outside world and damn it’s cold. Me and my flip flops don’t like it. Back underground to go the Leicester Square, Wayne wants a Burger King (yuck) So we get off at the station and head straight for it, damn, Leicester Square and Chinatown spells food to me, but no Wayne’s having non of that. Burger King it is. One burger, whatever Wayne had, and over hearing the manager have a meeting on the shop floor later we head back outside to something beginning with T. Eh? Confused, I was. Past the characteurs and to the Trocadero. Confused dot com :S In we go and I think it’s a shopping centre, o no. It’s an arcade, typical Wayne. You got any change? errr no! We’ll have a look anyways. Round the arcade we go, and a few games. Wayne’s scavenging for money to play with, don’t think he’ll find any, but he finds some tickets! a whole 16 of them. Won’t get him much but hey ho. WE some some rude boy dacing on the machines, OMG this guy is mental! and then he can’t go any more so he collapses. Fail! moving on, looking round the bowling and some more games and we head back outside to the tube station.
Back on the train and worrying about rush hour but it doesn’t seem so bad. Chilling out with the paper we’re on our way home. Picked up by the lovely Tracey, we drive home, coz our feet are aching. Home and time to update the blog

The weekend started early, and usually only for one reason… cars… I don’t get up for much else, unless you’re as cryptic as us and understand where im going with this you will know that I do… But anyway that’s another story… Basically what im saying is that Saturday mornings are made to be in bed and only important things will get me out of it, i.e. cars or Fran stuff of course…

We set off on our road trip to Gillingham, which was about 60 miles away, good job I got petrol the night before… My car hadn’t really felt like it was running right so I was going to fit a bigger fuel pump and get a new remap to see if it would improve things.

The trip down was nice and easy, sun was shining and we had our shades on we made it over the Dartford Bridge and headed to the A2 with no problems, our side was fine but the other direction was jammed for about 6 Miles! Eeeek.

We made it to our destination at about 45 mins after my expected arrival so it was straight down to business; I was swapping a fuel pump from one car to the next, my standard one for his modified one with larger pump internals.

After struggling loads to get my pump off we finally managed it and set upon fitting it to his, it was done in no time and the car started up with no issues… until it was time to start mine! It eventually went on ok but when the pump was primed it decided to squirt fuel everywhere… GREAT, just my luck…

So, off the pump came again, Fran getting VERY hungry and having read her Cosmo mag about 3 times through im sure she was getting board…I was going as quick as I can.. A quick call to some people and I was told there may be a washer needed… And by pure luck, deep in the engine bay there it was staring me in the face, a small copper washer… Could this be the cure of my problem?

The pump went back on and we tightened it up but it still pissed out with fuel. Not as much as before but it was definitely leaking… I didn’t want to waste any more of the day so we called time on it and decided to drive to AMD with it semi working.

Taking it slow, and eventually hitting the A2 traffic I just didn’t feel safe letting my car sit in stationary traffic, we had to get to the garage to fix the pump leak… So clever Fran gets out the iPhone (because TOM TOM is stupid and wants me to sit in a 6 mile tailback) and manages to find a nice country route around the A2 and back onto the M25. The drive was nice, through peaceful villages and greenery, just a shame we couldn’t stop and admire it, or stop and eat! All we had was a few dry biscuits lol

Wayne has a headache too much champagne methinks. Open the window to cool him down while I write this to update the blog. Sleepy Wayne looks so cute. Will update the rest of our day later but for now cuddles and afternoon sleeps listening to the sounds of Venice outside the window. And Wayne’s snoring.

Ok so two hours later we finally got up and dressed ready for some dinner. We walked around town and down some back streets looking for some dinner. A few wrong turns and dead ends later we found a nice little restaurant and sat down for some dinners. Well you’d think we’d be bored now but I had carbonara and Wayne had a prosciutto ham pizza same old same old. Ok so a nice walk back round San Marco making our way back to the hotel room. Well… Night night x

Fran still had some packing to do and I needed travel insurance ! So I jumped on the laptop and managed to sort it within 5 mins whoo

Breakfast time, and it was pancake time, I only had one though but Fran had about 4 lol

Last minute preparations before we leave and stuffing everything into the suitcase ready for the drive down to Gatwick. Frans stuff all rolled up and squeezed between my semi nearly folded clothes.

Right, into the car we go, frans dad kindly offering to take us. Not much traffic so we were ok, until he missed the Gatwick turn off. We had to take a detour but it was all good in the end, we made it to the north terminal.

As soon as we got inside it was straight over British airways self service kiosks where we could print our boarding passes. Job done in less than 2 minutes. We then checked in our bag and strolled straight through security.

Still hungry we headed towards WHsmith for snacks but we had to stop because there was a ferrari and Audi r8 parked on the stand to win one of the super-cars on offer. What a perfect time to pull out elephant for a quick pic on the ferrari. Was tempted to buy a raffle ticket but it’s too much money.

Now we are waiting for our Gate number number to be called / shown on screen. Then I’ll update this as today’s progresses.

Ok. We are on the plane! There was a delay because the security doors at boarding kept closing but it’s fine, we are on!

We also took a trip to boots to get some luxury eye damagers. 24 for £10 not bad lol.

Landed safe in Venice! There was a bloke sick on the plane was just wrong :s but we kept ourselves busy by playing monopoly (I lost) and a 3d golf game

The bloke next to us was sleeping the whole way so when it was safe I manged to get a picture of elephant looking out of the window.

After getting off the plane and getting the bag we had to source a vaperetto ticket for the water taxi across to the main island. It’s currently raining and we are under shelter in the boat stop.

The boat felt like it took ages, Stopping at 3 other stops before eventually pulling into st marco.
We got off the boat at about 9:00 ish and I already knew the way into the square over a few bridges.

It wasn’t raining but there was some surface water and the main walkways were pathed With raised platforms for us to walk on. As we went passed the main tower on the ground there was a mass puddle which we both splashed in and got slightly soaked lol.

I got the iPhone out loaded google maps and made sure 3g and data roaming was on. The GPS position was slightly out but I set the route to our hotel and we entered some back streets just off the main square. So far so good…

After battling the map and getting hopelessly lost it now being 9:45 despite our hotel only being 2 mins walk from the square I was eventually persuaded to seek help frm a waiter at a restaurant we saw earlier in the night.

He didn’t really know but luckily enough his mate did and we were finally at the hotel just one minute after my 10:00 predicted time. We entered the hotel and it was lovely. We checked in and the concierge took our bag and we walked out of the main complex to another building where our room was, it was on the second floor, room 612.

We had to take the elevator but once the doors opened there was our room directly opposite. We were shown into our room and then left to have a look round on our own.

There was champagne on the bed waiting for us but we were so hungry we just wanted to get out of the room we spent ages looking for lol.

As we were just getting settled we heard sirens like in the blitz! This was a flood warning noise and even tho it had been raining we saw no signs of this… Yet

Ok, off to dinner the logical place to have dinner was the restaurant where the waiter helped us about 15 mins ago, so we went back there.

The waiter was shocked and though we were lost again but we explained we just wanted to eat after a long journey so we sat down in the empty restaurant and had the place to our selves.

We were served straight away which was pretty good and seeing as we were the only ones in there i should of hoped so to we shared a ham pizza and chips and literally was in and out within 30 mins, we needed sleep!

Walking out from the resteraunt and turning the corner to be met by 3 Italians making a fuss over something… it turned out to be that the route we needed to take was slightly flooded in about 5 inches of water where the canal had come up and over the bank… joy!

I walked through and got slightly wet feet but where was Fran? Round the corne screaming lol, so with the Italian folk cheering me on i done the hiroic thing and went back for the lady in distress, she climbed aboard and i walked back through the flooded path with a lot of praise from the locals.

Finally back to the hotel and time to check out the room, we collapsed in bed.

We woke up quite early, about 9 O’clock ish, “Happy Valentines Day”…. big smiles…

knowing our breakfast was coming at about 10 we had an hour to kill…

I flicked the telly on and we watched some American Idol, it got to about quarter to and we were getting very hungry, so i went to look down the corridor and see if the damn food was actually on its way… it wasn’t.. boo!

Still fresh from the bottle we decided to sip some more Champagne, kept fizzy by placing a tea spoon into it over night (thanks for the tip baby), that was the life, Champagne for breakfast!

I reached over and gave Fran her Valentines day card, I’m sure she saw a sneak peak in the car yesterday but it was still a surprise, her face lit up like an x mas tree and I knew today was going to be another fantastic day.

I eagerly awaiting my card and it came, and made me soo happy. Along with a nice silk pair of boxers which i have been informed that we are sharing… an elephant (our cryptic animal) teddy and a lovely earring! Thank you baby.

It wasn’t  over yet, i lent over to reveal in the draw next to Frans bed a pink plush teddy and more champagne and chocs

10:00 and still no foodings, I considering calling down to reception (im very impatient -lol) but after 15 mins later with a minute to spare there comes a knock at the door. I was expecting a few plates with our breakfast but instead it turned out to be a whole tray big enough for 5 breakfatsts, the bloke carried it on his shoulder like a builder as it was so heavy.

“can i come in”? said the concierge.. erm best not mate lol, glad I didn’t let him in, i didn’t have cash for a tip but here’s one for you anyway… ” Don’t eat yellow snow…”

Placing the tray tray smack in the middle of the bed it dawned on us that there was a lot more food than we actually needed… Ooops my bad. I seemed to of ordered double of everything hahaha simple mistake to make i guess… so we ended up with two lots of hot English breakfasts, sausage, egg, bacon etc along with 4 toasts, croissants, 2 lots of cereal and 3 drinks, lol its all gooood, it was part of the valentines weekend deal to get breakfast so we might as well milk it!

Ok, so breakfast and Champagne went down well, but now came the mad rush to get everything packed and together ready to check out.

My job was to collect all the rose petals from various locations of the room, they seemed to of gotton everywhere

More packing and stressing later and we were finally ready to trot down into reception and hand back our room cards.

Next stop, the Reebok stadium for the footy match.

It wasn’t too far away and before we knew it we were being crammed into a car park at the ground. With an hour to kill we were going to go to the pub but it was too far away so we settled for tesco, not quite as hyper of fun as our previous tesco journies but it was surprisingly similar to my local tesco despite it being over 200 miles away.. lol funny that.

Fran bought some drinks and chocs for the game and we were ready to go find our seats in row ZZ which happened to be riiight at the top, great view and perfect seats smack in the middle. After climbing to the top and trying to keep warm the match was about to get underway.

Spurs started poorly but we the away fans were brillient as usual, out sining and probably numbering the home crowd, Spurs do have the best fans in the premiership you know. Even Fran was getting involved with the songs

My hands were soo cold but they were being kept warm in my hat and linked with Frans hands too for extra warmth.

Spurs went a goal down just before half time, Harry had some serious work to do. Even the bloke next to us couldnt even keep his eyes open it was so poor.

As the second half began you could see we were up for it and “green man” (Gareth Bale to you and me) nicknamed by Fran for his bright green boots was on fire down the wing and it wasn’t long before he put in a cross to jermain defoe who slotted home an equaliser.

The crowd went mad and finally Fran experienced the joy of an away goal with the spurs fans, it was amazing and i was shouting and singing

After more chances and hitting the bar a few times we could see a second goal coming, and when we were awarded a penalty i thoght this would be it but Tom Huddleston missed and it was still one all

The game came to an end as a draw, but spurs should of won. Atleast we got that goal and we are still in the FA cup.

Time to make the long journey back down to London, traffic everywhere but it had to be done.

As we were going down the motorway we saw the Spurs coach, and got a pic of it below hehee

A few hours later, nearly home and bloody starvin we had to decide on food, Pizza hut it is.. doesn’t take too long to cook does it??….

40 mins for a delivery or 20 mins if you collect, being hungry we decided to collect but 45 mins later and a lot of waiting in the small take away shop we still hadn’t got our food, untill i get a phone call from Mum saying theres a pizza hut delivery man at the door.. WTF! Anyway  the bloke then had to drive back to the shop and give me the food, i argued but was so hungry i just wanted it, paid the nice man and we were on our way ready to crawl into bed.

I light the candles to set the mood and we got curled into bed ready to finally watch the rest of “Couples retreat” on blu-ray

hmm warm cookie dough  and vanilla ice cream as well for a special treat, even tho it was a bit burned we polished it all off and watched the movie.

I’m glad we saw the film when we were slightly more awake than the other night because it was a nice movie and we enjoyed it, I don’t quite think its worthy enough for our movies page but defo one to watch.

That brings our valentines weekend to a close and we can only now wait for our next weekend which is a trip to Venice.

Fran picked me up from the station which was a great unexpected surprise hehe then we made it back to mine for some dinner.

Up to bed again and cool runnings is on but no time for that we had ASDA to terrorise!

Jumping in the SEAT as it needed fuel! Well both cars needed fuel but the yellow beast was the choice of transport for tonight.

I thought it would be a good idea to change up my pennies in order to afford some fuel. So I grabbed my digital money pot which apparently had about £31 in it… We shall see about this.

Right, money pot in hand and away we go.

We pulled up to the rooftop car park and made our way in to the store but approaching the money counting machiney thing I could see someone is already using it! Boo dot com.

I dint want to make it obvious that we were hurrying them along so I let Fran sneak a peek at them whilst i mooved’ aside. Eventually the machine was ours! And I chose the on screen cash voucher option, who seriously would bring all there hard saved pennies and press donate to charity?

Pouring the contents of my pot in to the machine it didn’t look much but once it got going and the money started to add up it was all good. As the coins slowly disappeared and were swallowed up the on screen total started to rise, i know the machine takes away like 8p for every pound but I didn’t expect the final value to be that much lower than the £31 estimate

The final total was £28.79 and I was happy with that, now what can we buy?

Off down the travelator we go to the foody section, but we need a basket, im not carrying that! ohh maybe I am lol

“omg omg omg” – what? “Angel Delight!” lol ok, so Fran was rather excited to find some butter scotch Angel Delight, so in the basket it goes, i prefer strawberry but i guess ill try this one too. More food? Yes, more cookie mixture for later, whoo! That goes in the basket too, next stop, DVD’S…

Not really much on offer but we did find a classic Fran/Wayne film… Happy Feet, so i took a picture of it lol. The other DVDs sucked so over to the Blu Ray section we go.

There are a few nice films but I left Fran to pick her fav and i decided to take some random pictures as seen below
Blu Ray discs are more expensive at £16 but I love the quality of em and if you got the equipment to run it then why not.

Finally a DVD was decided upon, “Couples Retreat” – A comedy centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort’s therapy sessions is not optional.

Handing the empty DVD case to the women there to find the DVD i was board of waiting so i took a pic of her trying to find it. She was very grumpy so i decided not to play any tricks on her… We used the cash voucher to pay for the foodings and DVD and all was good because it meant we missed the ques for the checkout

Counting my change baffled as to where all my hard saved pennies had gone I wanted a look round the clothes, well not really, I just wanted to sweep Fran off her feet and give her a massive smooch, finding a quiet isle which happened to be mens/boys underwear i achieved my goal and got some smiles, so I was happy.

Time to say goodbye to ASDA but not before I had a bit more fun, i decided to scare some kid by pointing at him, that was funny…

Out to the car and Fran wont get in, shes busy writing something in the dirt on the car, i later found out it said “i’m slow” which wont bother me because its her car har har !!

Right its off to spend whats left of my voucher on petrol, there was a shocking chav car in shell i think it was a calibra, but i would be ashamed to drive that with a huge white spoiler on… pulling out of the station after having clear instructions not to rag it or show off i decided to stall the car

Back home again! Frans turn to make the cookie dough. I went up stairs to sort the room out and DVD etc came down and somethings missing.. half the bloody cookie mixture eaten raw by guess who? lol well maybe not half but defo some was missing… In to the oven it goes and 10 mins laters its done!

Silly Fran now full up on raw mixture doesn’t fancy any of the nice cooked stuff with ice cream, hmmm! I do , I do! urghhh i feeel sick ive had enough…

Finally in bed DVD on, another journey over with for now, look out for the Sainsburys trip coming soon

Ok, so we started the night by Fran coming over, both very tired.com as usual… we had dinner and got into bed as usual…

But… we had always said that day we had to get some bits from Tesco, plus it was something for us to do, anyway both not wanting to get out of bed it was a struggle to actually move but im glad we did.

We was watching Grand Designs at the time and just paused and recorded it and turned off the TV and said right thats it we are going.

Into the little yellow Seat bubble we go, im driving of course… just cruising down the a1 ready to pull off for the Borehmwood junction some van decides to flash and beep me.. still never found out why lol

I found a space next to a Honda Type R and it was unlike me to actually be parked without driving round for ages looking for a space but never the less it was done!

I had to hide fran and my face from the security guard so he didnt reconise us, or things could of got ugly!

We took the travelator type thing up stiars but realised it was a wasted journy so back down we went, straight past the Durex playtime Lube… ohh lol

Finally we found the Razor bladey things, £8 quid your having a lauff! Any hoot, it was what the missus wanted.

Now time for the cookie dough, i had no idea so i left it to Fran… she decided on some cookie mixture stuff and white chocolate ball things, but sh1t.. this is all too much to carry, we NEEDED a basket! I found one down an aisle, it was probably someone elses but who cares i wanted it.. so i took it and decided to pretend Fran was behind bars.. see the pic hehe

Mission complete.. or was it… theres more to come…

My mother wanted some oily type stuff too, so a call later and looking at about 50 types of the damn stuff we got the right one and managed to get out of there alive.

We didnt get chased by security but we did have a fun time, mainly because i was very hyper and was running about and being crazy. Hence the pictures.

Whoo, next stop.. ASDA! look out for the trip to asda post coming soon.

Time to cook that dough!
When we got back home I decided to test my cooking skills, some butter, water and a mix later and my creation was ready!

It was basically a massive cookie but that plus some ice creame made it cookie dough.. I think..

All in all, it was a nice little trip out and we didn’t get arrested or in any trouble.

I liked the cookie stuff too

Sitting at Frans getting ready for the journey to mine, still deciding which car to take, hmm lets just go in the Cupra meaning I would need to drive back Sunday all seemed good and we were on our way, little did we know it would end in tears.

M4 traffic was good, a few little races but on the most part some sensible driving if i do say so myself.

We get onto the m25 and i decide to drop into 4th as a scooby estate is trying to undertake me, i changed gear a split second too late hitting the limiter thus causing something to give and the car immediately goes into limp mode with no throttle response.. JOYS!

Over to the hard shoulder we go, still within the “free recovery zone” I called Seat assistance and was told i was a top priority as I’m on the motorway and someone will be there in 10 mins.

10 mins passes and we treck up the embankment of the motorway to see whats on the other side, its only a field, i was hoping for a river or at least some sheep…

Anyway, a tow truck comes, its not the AA…. its a highway patrol vehicle who came to remove me from the roadworks zone.. great!

So he says he will take me a few mines down the m25 to the main depot and i could await my recovery there, back on the phone to Seat assistance letting them know ill be in there instead of along the m25 somewhere…

We make it to the depot and the car is unloaded and the tow bloke vanishes leaving us to a very cold cabin all by ourselves, there were sofas but it was too cold for any funny business, plus the mood was sour, mainly because we wanted tea to warm up but there wasn’t any milk…

Few moments later the real AA man turned up, a young ish bloke who i could tell wasn’t going to find the issue..

I uncovered my diagnostics port ready for him to plug in his device and waited eagerly to find out what the computer had to say, but it told me very little… only that there was a misfire in cylinder four, but I know a misfire doesn’t make the car act how it was so it must be a much larger problem.

I pulled out the coil pack on cylinder 4 and the spark plug chamber was full of water! how the hell did it get in there? head gasket? cracked head, who knows but this is BAD….

We let the car idle and it was kicking out a lot of smoke, water was getting in there somehow and i just wanted to cry.

Deciding its best not to drive the car we arranged to get a tow back to my house.

We waited and waited for what seemed like an age, playing hangman and listening to N-dubz to keep us busy. Finally a large AA truck arrived and we wasted no time getting it loaded up and we were on our way back to mine.

Now all we had to do was figure out a way how to get back to Frans on Sunday What a start to the Birthday weekend I had planned.
